Band to Perform on Memorial Day In ABQ’s Old Town Plaza

That’s right – You Heard It Right – The Big Band Sound is Coming to Old Town

Westside Sound Big Band will be performing in the Historic Old Town Plaza gazebo on  Memorial Day, May 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.  The Cultural Services Depart of the City of Albuquerque has asked Westside Sound to give a Memorial Day concert in Albuquerque’s Historic Old Town Plaza.

Also Don’t Forget Our May Performance at Piano Source

Our regular monthly performance and party is on Wednesday, May 4th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Piano Source.  As always there will be great big band music and food.

“Spanish Eyes” Video Released

Westside Sound Big Band of Albuquerque just released another highlight video from our April Fool’s Day party at Piano Source‘s performance and dance space. This video includes an instrumental version of “Spanish Eyes” made famous by Engelbert Humperdinck, Wayne Newton, and Al Martino in the 1960s.
